One parent may believe that a weekend belongs to them, while the other parent has made plans. Someone may forget a school event. A holiday arrangement may be remembered differently by each parent.
A Shared calendar helps remove some of this uncertainty. Instead of asking "Whose weekend is it?" parents can simply check the calendar.
What should you include in your coparenting calendar?
Start with the regular parenting arrangement.
For example, your schedule might show:
*Monday to Wednesday with one parent.
*Wednesday to Friday with the other parent.
*Alternating weekends.
*School holidays divided between parents
*Alternating public holidays
